Our Process

THE INITIAL MEETING

After an initial phone conversation, we schedule a time to meet in person to get acquainted and see your home first hand. During the visit, we’ll walk through your home, discuss your needs, talk about your vision, and discuss your reasons for remodeling.  We ask questions about your future plans and your ideal budget associated with one, or all, of the building phases.  We will then follow up with an email that outlines a high level scope of work that was discussed in the initial meeting.

THE PLANNING PHASE

After our initial meeting, if you feel like we are a good fit for your project, we will begin the construction analysis phase which includes a Pre-Construction Services Agreement.  Based on your vision, goals, and plans, we will work on your floor plan design (if necessary) and come up with a detailed scope of work for your project.  Once the scope of work is completed and reviewed, we will work with our vendor and design partners on the job pricing phase.  This will include multiple site visits and meetings with the designers and/or architect, as well as phone calls and vendor meetings.  At the end of the Pre-Construction Planning phase, we will provide you with a detailed scope of work, product specifications, and a proposal of services and cost to complete your project.

Successful construction projects require thorough planning. Rushing into a project without detailed planning often leads to problems and delays. The benefit of collaboratively planning and sequencing a project on paper is priceless for the overall build. The cost of pre-construction is based on the time invested.

THE BUILDING PHASE

Once the proposal is accepted and the agreed upon start date arrives, we will begin construction on your home - this is the time when all the pre-construction planning becomes reality.   Throughout the entire process, our team will provide project management, a clean jobsite, transparent conversations, and regular updates and communication.  Our goal is not just to build you a home, but to improve your lifestyle and start a life-long relationship.
