Parker Wren is a custom home builder and remodeler based in the Annapolis area, led by founder Ben Chando. With more than twenty-two years in residential construction — including leadership roles overseeing complex, high-end projects across Maryland and Virginia — Ben brings a builder's discipline and an owner's accountability to every job.
We specialize in residential remodeling and custom home projects where planning, communication, design intent, and craftsmanship all matter. Our work ranges from carefully detailed kitchens and first floor remodels to whole-home renovations, additions, and ground-up custom homes.
We partner with homeowners, interior designers, and architects from the earliest planning conversations — guiding projects through detailed scope development, pricing, construction management, and final finish. Many Parker Wren projects are completed in collaboration with Details and Design LLC, the Annapolis-based interior design firm led by Ben's wife, Amanda, known for timeless, collected interiors.
Ben Chando, Founder
Prior to Parker Wren, Ben rose from Field Project Manager to VP and Division Manager of Production and Sales at a privately held Virginia homebuilder. In that role he helped lead operations across complex, multi-million-dollar residential portfolios — overseeing production, sales, and marketing on work that demanded precision at every level.
Born and raised in Bethlehem, PA, Ben moved to Virginia in 2003 after graduating from Penn State University. He and his wife Amanda live in the Annapolis area with their three daughters, all of whom keep the family schedule full with sports. When he isn't operating Parker Wren, you'll most likely find him on the golf course or traveling with his family.
